The 2020 Bradshaw Literary Award Winner Goes to Gemma Miller
The 2020 Harry Townsend Kaufmann Performing Arts Award Goes to Evelyn Skyrm
Mr. Kaufmann was a long-time Haddonfield resident and enthusiastic amateur in the world of the performing arts. He wrote, composed and directed a musical commemorating his beloved hometown, “Kings’ Road”, winning a Freedom Foundation Award. He was committed to assisting those around him, not looking for recognition and thanks, just looking to help. Accordingly, this award seeks to recognize a HMHS senior who exemplifies his twin passions of civic engagement and participation in the performing arts. Congratulations to Evelyn Skyrm!
The 2020 Quanci Visual Arts Award Goes to Victoria Hirst
The HCA Board recognizes the visual arts program has been so strong, growing in stature and numbers (thanks to the hard work of the faculty and administrative support), that it deserved it’s own award. All HMHS seniors are encouraged to enter visual art submission for consideration. Entries include 2D and 3D pieces in any medium. The HCA is continually proud of the hard work and insight shared by the HMHS students and their display of creativity. Congratulations to Victoria Hirst!
